Although later we figured out the theme "deconstruction" was selected with more introspective and politically involved games in mind, we interpreted it in the literal sense. So we set out to make a deconstruction of classic arcade mechanics and added randomization just to see what happens when you play, so the interesting premise of this game can be summarized as 'how would you kill pang balls with a standard run and gun weapon, or bomberman bombs? and how would you kill standard enemies with pang's vertical ray?'.
Originally we wanted to make the boss more interesting and count boss kills for the scoring but we didn't have time for that. We also wanted to have other stages with different designs from different arcade genres but it was too much for a little experiment in under 48 hours.
